Standard CPR and AED Hybrid Training Course

Date: Wed., November 8, 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: Buffalo State University, Houston Gym (Room 125), 267 Rees St, Buffalo, NY 14222
Park in Lot I-39 off of Iroquois Drive (map below)
Cost: $20 per person
Who Can Attend: Any registered Scouts BSA member (minimum age 13) or any registered Cub or Scouts BSA leader
Specifics: This hybrid course involves:
1. Participants completing an online, interactive learning component (1.5-2 hours), which includes passing a test and earning a certificate BEFORE attending the in-person course. A test grade of 85 or higher is required to earn your online certificate, which participants are required to print or show to course instructors on Nov. 8.
2. Participants attend the in-person training, which reinforces the online instruction, with practical skills training on manikins.
Once registered and paid, you will receive an email with account details to log on, access and complete your online training.
This course is a prerequisite for Wilderness First Aid.

Please note this course is open to 10 people only.
The CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for CPR/AED valid for two years.
