Standard CPR and AED Training Course

 

Date: Wed., May 24, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

 

Location: Wheatfield Lions Club Five-Senses Park Complex, 6535 Ward Rd., Wheatfield, 14132

 

Cost: $20 per person

 

Who Can Attend: Any registered Scouts BSA member (minimum age 13) or any registered Cub or Scouts BSA leader

 

Specifics: This hybrid-course involves:

 

1. Participants completing an online, interactive learning component (1.5-2 hours), which includes passing a test and earning a certificate BEFORE attending the in-person course. A test grade of 85 or higher is required to earn your online certificate, which participants are required to print or show to course instructors on May 24.

 

2. Participants attend the in-person training, which reinforces the online instruction, with practical skills training on manikins.

 

Once registered and paid, you will receive an email with account details to log on, access and complete your online training. 

 

This course is a prerequisite for Wilderness First Aid.

The CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims.  Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for CPR/AED valid for two years.

Cancellation Policy
Individuals/Groups that cancel their event registration 14 days or more prior to the event date will receive a refund of the total registration fee less a 15% administrative service charge. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event date.
