Scouts, BSA Youth (Boys & Girls): Derby Day Needs You!
There is a Service opportunity for all Onondaga District Scouts, BSA Youth (Boys & Girls). A Crew Chief is a Scout, BSA youth who helps move the cars to where they need to be and assist in running the races.
To qualify as a Crew Chief, you must:
- Be currently registered in a Scouts, BSA Troop
- Be a good example for younger Scouts
- Be responsible
Crew Chief Expectations include:
- Be on time for your assigned shift
- Stay for the entire assigned shift
- Dress in your Scout uniform (sash is not needed)
- Carry-out assigned responsibilities
- Handle the cars carefully
- Demonstrate the Scout Oath and Law through your actions; be a good representative of the District, Council, and BSA
