Wilderness First Aid
Training in the wild Adirondacks
Birchbark Expeditions is pleased to coordinate Wilderness First Aid training with Badger Wilderness Guides in the beautiful Adirondacks. This training is a great opportunity to get outside, gain or refresh your WFA certification for upcoming high adventure activities, without sitting in a classroom staring at PowerPoint slides!
Agenda:
July 28th - arrive in the afternoon and refresh CPR/AED training (if needed)
July 29-30th - WFA training from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM each day
July 31st - optional day- canoe excursion in ADK
Location:
Camp Mountaineer in the Massawepie Scout Reservation
What's Included:
- Certified Wilderness First Aid trainer
- Two full days of hands-on training
- Program training materials and completion certificate
- Meals - Breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner each day
- Waterfront tent camping facilities on Massawepie Lake
