Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation Training (BALOO)

The cost of this Training is $15.00 (includes lunch)
Please RSVP prior to the course date.
- Arrive 15 minutes before your session starts.
- Bring something to take notes (pen/paper or technolgy).
- Bring your favorite coffee mug and/or water bottle.
- Field uniform is required.
Cub Scout Packs conducting Cub Scout camping programs must have at least one “BALOO” trained adult leader on the campout.
The main focus is on administrative details for conducting a safe, fun Cub Scout camping program.
Please report food allergies at the time of registration.

Training Requirements
Please review the Council Training Committee's Mandatory Leader Training Requirements prior to attending this training. Youth Protection training for Boy Scouts is required prior to attending.
The Boy Scouts of America policy states: All leaders must certify in “Youth Protection Training” every two years. It is available at www.myscouting.org.
PLEASE READ: Cub Leaders and registered adults and parents, who successfully complete the BALOO training are BSA qualified to oversee the Cub Scouts at weekend campouts.
