Buffalo-Toronto Public Media, the owner of WNED-PBS and WBFO, the local NPR station, is offering Cub Scouts a behind-the-scenes tour of their studios in Buffalo. In addition, the studio will record the Scouts saying the broadcasting call letters to be aired at a future time!
In an effort to make this opportunity available to as many different Packs as possible given a limited number of spots, we ask that Packs or registering parents limit their registration to 3 Scouts or fewer per Pack.
Please use this tour as a unique reward or incentive to your top popcorn sellers or recruiters!
Register your Cub Scout using the "REGISTRATION" button. Parent does NOT need to register.
For the tour:
- Participating Scouts should be reasonably comfortable with the idea of being recorded (script will be provided)
- Scouts must be accompanied by an adult
- Please arrive 15 minutes early (4:15pm)
- Please dress in your Cub Scout uniform and adult leaders should be in uniform, too
- Parking is available in the studio's lot
Cost: $5 per Scout
