Birchbark Expeditions Information Night
Birchbark Expeditions is a Nationally Accredited week-long, fully guided high adventure canoe experience, steeped in the rich Age of Exploration history of Upper Canada. Operated by volunteers from GNFC, the program takes place five weeks from mid-July to mid-August in Algonquin Provincial Park. The program offers world-class canoe tripping among the thousands of lakes and unspoiled wilderness.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused some significant challenges to scouting programs, Birchbark Expeditions has developed new and alternative programs, ready for the summer of 2021.
In this live session, you will have an opportunity to learn more about the high-adventure program, meet the volunteers that operate the program, and find out how to coordinate your Birchbark Expedition!
