RJD Klondike Officially Declared a "Blast"

Right on cue, Mother Nature turned Camp Scouthaven into a winter wonderland, a perfect setting for the 2012 Red Jacket District Klondike.  The roughly 350 participants competed and tried their hands at a number of skills including fire-building, the Two-Man Saw, Snow-snakes, Log-Pull and many other winter activities.

"Army" Leonetti Recognized at Flagpole Dedication

"Army" Leonetti, a past Scoutmaster of Troop 483 in West Seneca was recognized this last weekend during a dedication ceremony at Camp Stonehaven in Niagara Country.  Named in his honor, the flagpole stands in the parade grounds of the camp and proudly flies the American Flag during all scouting events.

In addition to serving as Scoutmaster for close to 30 years, Army has led numerous trips to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.

Army continues to play an active role in the Greater Niagara Frontier Council, serving as a staff professional, in a wide range of capacities.
