Council Hires New Controller

Patrick M. Coviello, Greater Niagara Frontier Council Scout Executive, is pleased to annouce that, effective immediately, Mary J. Bartels will assume responsibility for all financial and fiscal matters and procedures, accounting, human resources, budget planning and management and compliance.  Additionally, as a member of the Scout Executive’s cabinet Mary will also serve as Staff Advisor to the Finance, Budget and Investment Advisory Committees.

A graduate of Canisius College, Mary holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA.  She comes to Greater Niagara Frontier Council with significant accounting and business acumen after having served with the American Steamship Company for 30 years in various roles including Controller and Chief Financial Officer.

Pat hopes you will stop by and give Mary a warm welcome as she begins her new venture with the Boy Scouts of America!
