Canoe Training
While you may have already spent some time in a canoe, you can refine those skills and learn the finer points of canoeing with American Canoeing Association training and certification.
COURSE FEE: $30 per person, includes an ACA paddling manual, the handsome ACA patch, and course filing fees for your ACA certification, payable to. Refresh students can participate for no-cost. Additional ACA patches will be available for $5.00 each, to adorn your guide shirt/PFD.
(Payable to CHARLES FELLER, the instructor, on-site.)
WHAT TO BRING:
- -Your own PFD (Life jacket required),
- -your favourite paddle,
- -your non-cook lunch and snacks,
- -dress for the forecasted weather plus a set of dry clothes,
- -your rain gear (so it doesn’t rain).
- -your filled water bottle(s),
- -your sunscreen, as needed,
- -your $30 course payment,
- -and everything else you will need to spend the day outdoors.
-Birchbark Expeditions will provide tandem canoes and paddles.
Payment is expected upon arrival on the training date. Cash or Check, payable to Charles Feller.
