We are excited about 2018 and the enhancements to our scouting program as we work to make Scouting more accessible to families. To kick off the year and continue to provide information and opportunities that will assist you in delivering the highest level of service to our units we will be hosting two events: 

Commissioner Retreat (Uniformed Event)

• Saturday, January 20^th Starts Promptly at 8:00AM and Ends Promptly by 3:00PM

• At the GNFC Council Service Center

This will be a fun and fast moving day that will cover topics and plans to assist you in your commissioner service. Family Scouting, Scout Book, Detailed Assessments, District Operations and 2019 Unit Talking Points are just some of the topics that will be covered. We will have several interactive discussions and break outs with over a dozen different speakers to keep it interesting. Please take a moment and register as soon as you can.

Commissioner Social (Non Uniformed Event)

• Friday, January 19^th 7:00PM to 9PM

• The 33 Speak Easy Grill 34 55 Genesee St., Cheektowaga NY 14225

• Cash Bar $10 for appetizers. (Indicate interest when registering for the Retreat. Please pay cash at the event)

These two events will set the path for us to guide our council through 2018 and into the future.
