What is Beaver Day? - Beavers are hardworking and industrious, just like Scouters. This is a chance to help improve our weekend camp facilities. Camp Stonehaven needs your support!
Who? - Ventures, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Commissioners, Committee Members, and Adult/Parent Leaders of units. All groups and individuals are invited to help.
When? - Saturday August 30, 2014 – 8am start
What kind of things will we be doing? - All sorts of clean up and repairs to help Ranger Jerry get ready for the weekend camping season. We’ll be moving firewood, fixing gutters, repairing benches,
weed whacking, repairing bunks, cleaning cabins, repairing steps, and whatever else needs to be done. Bring tools if you can.
Why are we doing this? - Stonehaven is our weekend camp in the Polaris District and our District committee feels that we all need to help take care of our camp. Ranger Jerry has limited time and resources. The more we can help him keep our camp beautiful, the more we all can have a great experience when we camp there for weekends and at Klondike derby.
Lunch – For all participants who register and attend to help, we will be cooking hot dogs and the fixings for lunch. Feel free to bring a dish to share.
