Learn what sustainability means and how to practice it.

This is a full uniform event.  Scouts must bring a blue merit badge card signed by your unit leader.  Bring a bag lunch.  Leader supervision is required for all events.  Absolutely no walk-ins.

Prerequisites:  Read the Sustainability Merit Badge Pamphlet

Requirement #2 – (community A) Design a sustainable community.  Draw a picture with labels of this community.

Requirement #2 – (stuff A) Keep a log of the “stuff” your family purchases (excluding food items) for two weeks.  In your log, categorize each purchase as an essential need (such as soap) or a desirable want (such as a DVD).
